This is what happens when you give a reporter a camera
The newspaper I wrote for eliminated a photographer position about 10 years ago. I took along a Canon G-10 on my beat, started shooting on a daily basis and fell in love with photography. Cameras have become an extension of my being.
I’ve found my niche, focusing on agricultural landscapes, nature, and small-town Americana. Sometimes I experiment with abstract images derived from these things.
At some point, people started hounding me for prints. So, here we are.
